There's a great company behind this great product. The smart USB storage devices, photo products and MP3 players from disk2go® are produced by Swiss company Data Storage Advisors AG.

Data Storage Advisors AG will soon be able to celebrate 30 years in business. The company was founded under the name of Dato AG in 1975 with a focus on IT products. In 1998, the present management team acquired the company and registered it under the new of Data Storage Advisors AG.

With this new name comes a new focus, as Data Storage Advisors realigns its business to place data storage media at the core of its operations. After just a few years, the company successfully manages to establish its position in Switzerland and becomes the market leader there. This is a fact that is not just appreciated by its retail partners, but has been acknowledged with awards year on year.

disk2go® - storage on the fly
Due to its longstanding experience in distributing and handling storage media, Data Storage Advisors AG decides to launch its own brand in the growth market of removable storage in 2001: disk2go®. After just one and a half years, disk2go® USB storage media have taken over the market leadership in Switzerland.

At the end of 2003, Data Storage Advisors AG expands and forms a distributor network spanning the EU Member States. Alongside Switzerland, the main sales markets are Germany, Austria, Italy, the Czech Republic, Hungary and the Benelux countries. The disk2go® product range is also marketed in Spain and Poland.

Strategic partnerships
Strong partnerships make for impressive products. Data Storage Advisors AG maintains a strategic partnership with M-Systems (Nasdaq: FLSH), the world's leading flash disk memory manufacturer, to develop its disk2go® USB sticks and MP3 products.
